The most beautiful building in my country is Dadiani palace museum. It 1921 that interest in the use of the Dadiani palace as a museum surged.
ReplyDeleteThe museum underwent renovations in 198-s, at which time it was discovered that the walls of the palace had originally been painted in a 19th centure European style.
The collections of the museum consist of over 45,000 items, some of which date back to the original Palace collection. They represent thousands of years of history, and include several utterly unique pieces, such as Napoleon Bonaparte's death mask and a garment traditionally belived to have been worn by the Virgin mary. Another important part of the collection is the Dadianis' library, which consists of thousand of items, the museum's armaments collection includes more than 200 swords, pistols, guns, and other military items. The museum owns many other intriguing itmes collected by the Dadianis.

Tbilisi state Academic Opera and Ballet House is situated on Rustaveli Avennue, in the centre of Tbilisi. The Foundation of the Tbilisi State Academic theatre of opera was the consequence of the political and Cultural processes. On the initiative of Vorontsov on 15 April 1847 there were laid the foundcations of the building of the Opera theatre, which took 4 years under the guidance of the Italian architect Antonio Scudieni. On 9 november 1851 the first theatrical season was opened in Tbilisi with Lusia di Lammermoor. The performance was successfull. The interior of Opera House is totally Moonish in style and is doubtless one of the most elegant, beautiful and fasciniating theatrical constructions. Unrest and destabilization in Georgia in 1990 affected Tbilisi Opera theatre as it did many others in the country.
